Bio-Angle Vacs CEO Receives APEC BEST AWARD 2025 in Moscow
Kuala Lumpur, 2025 — Bio-Angle Vacs is proud to announce that our Chief Executive Officer, Noor Shazreena Ishak, has been honoured with the APEC BEST AWARD 2025 in Moscow. This prestigious award recognises outstanding women entrepreneurs from across the 21 APEC economies, celebrating leadership, innovation, and impact on regional economic development.
Representing Malaysia on the global stage, Noor Shazreena showcased Bio-Angle Vacs’ pioneering contributions to sustainable biotechnology in both livestock and aquaculture. Her presentation highlighted the company’s groundbreaking scientific advancements and its role in strengthening regional food security.
Under the strategic leadership of Noor Shazreena, together with the company’s founder Mr. Seleman Arip, Bio-Angle Vacs has achieved several remarkable milestones:

STVac7, developed by Prof. Zamri Saad, the world’s first intranasal recombinant spray vaccine for small ruminants, has demonstrated over 98% reduction in mortality.

Secured USD 87 million in annual international contracts, with an additional USD 70 million currently under negotiation.

Successfully completed Southeast Asia’s first GMP-standard livestock vaccine manufacturing facility, with a production capacity of up to 600,000 bottles per year.

Advanced regional aquaculture biotechnology through ViVac and Aquabooster, two innovative feed-based vaccines formulated for key marine species.

Established to promote gender-inclusive economic growth, the award highlights women-led businesses that contribute significantly to their industries while driving sustainable development within their communities.
Each year, nominees present their business achievements, innovation strategies, and societal contributions at the APEC Women and the Economy Forum.
